DISPUTE RESOLUTION SERVICE
Our Expert Witness services are undertaken personally by our Managing Director Gareth Allan. We advise on all flooring problems/issues and make recommendations on rectification. Gareth is also a consultant member of the Contract Flooring Association, undertaking inspections throughout the U.K for them also.
We encompass all flooring materials including: -
Concrete and Cement Screeds, Cementitious Underlays, Hardboard, Chipboard, Plywood, Carpets, Vinyl, Rubber, Linoleum, Static Conductive Floors, Laminates, Maintenance, Cleaning, Sub-floor Preparation, Entrance Matting and Acoustic Flooring.
We aim to aid dispute resolution amicably, without recourse to legal proceedings. However, sometimes this is not possible. We offer a full mediation service for disputes, or can act in the capacity of Expert Witness, either Party Appointed, or Single Joint Expert.
We undertake inspections throughout the UK and Europe, fully investigate all problems, and provide a comprehensive report on our findings. We also can advise on all flooring technical queries.
Gareth has been active in the flooring trade for 27 years and started off completing his apprenticeship as a decorative floor layer, since then he has undertaken flooring projects all over Britain within the following sectors: MOD, Healthcare, NHS, Leisure, Retail and Educational.
Gareth is well known within the Flooring Industry and until recently was the Operations Manager within one of the largest Flooring Contractors in the UK with a Multi-Million-pound turnover.
Gareth is also a provisional Member of the Expert Witness and is currently working to achieve full membership, he is also the only qualified Independent Flooring Consultant in Scotland and provides an expert witness service to Scottish colleges, where he undertakes assessing all Scotland’s apprentice’s final skills tests.
